Escape to the Woods!
Fun-packed Christmas holiday club for children.
We are pleased to be offering fabulous Christmas holiday club for children! Our kids clubs are designed to encourage children to learn and play outdoors in ways that are fun and stimulating. A typical day at Escape to the Woods includes cooking on an open fire, games, free play and a range of woodland activities such as den building, creating shelters, bush crafts, developing green woodworking skills and willow working.
Evidence shows that real and meaningful experience in natural environments at an early age gives children a better start in life, greater emotional security, better concentration and an ability to empathise with the needs of others.
Our Christmas Escape to the Woods days and activities are as follows:
Wednesday 3rd January
This is for 5 to 12 year olds and will involve having fun finding and making things out of wood and clay. Older children can have a go at whittling greenwood as well.
This session will also include all the usual woodland fun such as den building and creating shelters, bush crafts, green woodworking, willow working and campfire cooking.
The day will run from 10am until 3pm and cost £25 per child per day. Please bring a packed lunch, hot and colds drinks will be provided.
Your place will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
Please submit one form per child; you can put multiple dates on one form. If you want to change your date(s) please can you email us to make this request on info@thecartshed.co.uk (we can't guarantee that we will be able to change your original dates)
