"I am not one for mixing with people, but I have made some new friends and I wish the course would continue. It has helped me in so many ways and I don’t want it to end. I thank everyone who has helped me on this journey to my recovery!"
The Cart Shed highlighted by Public Health England
Every Mind Matters, a new online survey just launched by Public Health England found that more than a quarter of people who experienced signs of poor mental health waited at least six months before taking action to try and manage it.
“We’re all aware of the benefits of looking after our physical health and the steps we can take to keep ourselves healthy, but many of us are not as proactive as we could be when it comes to our mental health,” said Health Secretary Matt Hancock. “Every Mind Matters will benefit us all with an accessible tool to help manage our wellbeing at the click of a button.”
The Cart Shed was highlighted by Public Health England for being a good example of an organisation helping with mental health issues.
This recognition The Cart Shed shows that our charity is the type of organisation PHE want to work with as part of the Every Mind Matters campaign.
